The Great St. Petersburg State Circus hosted a circus arts festival

This year the St. Petersburg Circus celebrates its anniversary - 145 years since its founding. In honor of this grandiose event, an international project was launched within its walls, in which artists from around the world took part.

An international jury consisting of circus art experts spent several days evaluating the performances of vaulters, tightrope walkers, animal trainers, jugglers, clowns, gymnasts, acrobats and representatives of other disciplines.

Viewers also had the opportunity to see performances featuring exotic animals, both small and large representatives of the earth’s fauna. Not only dogs, cats, birds, but also tigers and elephants came to the arena.

The dates of the festival coincided with the autumn school holidays. This choice is not accidental, because the circus should be open and accessible to all categories of spectators. For foreign guests, this choice of dates was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our hospitality and cordiality.
