First performance after quarantine

On February 14, a performance dedicated to medical workers took place in the arena of the Great St. Petersburg State Circus. The show was given by the artists of the Italian Circus Tongi.

The hosts and ideological inspirers of the event were Daria Kostyuk, author of the charity event “In the Name of Beating Hearts” and director of the “Italian Circus Tongi”, as well as Ilya Lyakhov, director of the Great St. Petersburg Circus. According to the organizers, it is a great honor for circus performers to give a concert for medical workers. Now the situation in the world is returning to normal, but medical workers continue to remain at their posts and work tirelessly.

The performance brought together Italian trainers of exotic animals, an illusionary attraction, acrobats and clowns in the arena. The project was created to support employees of healthcare institutions in the Russian Federation during the pandemic.
