New head of the Russian State Circus

As the circus's online channel reported, the candidate was selected based on the results of the second stage of the competition, which was held behind closed doors. In December 2020, Sergey was appointed interim CEO of the company.

The former director of the organization, Vladimir Shemyakin, left his post on December 15, 2020 of his own free will. Vladimir has led the Russian State Circus since 2019, when he was appointed acting, and then was elected its head.

Previously, Sergei Belyakov headed the Nizhny Tagil State Circus, then the State Circus of Udmurtia and the Great St. Petersburg Circus. Now the Russian State Circus operates 5 tents and 38 stationary branches throughout Russia.
