"Odyssey": secrets, adventures and an unusual journey at the Circus on Fontanka

What could be more interesting in summer than traveling by sea? Just an unusual circus odyssey in which viewers will have to look for amphorae and meet unusual animals along the way.

Opera parts are perfectly combined with circus stunts and choreographic numbers. Many dangers await spectators! What is it worth just meeting the Gorgon Medusa? And the mermaids who will make anyone's head spin with their synchronized swimming? What about strange animals? Porcupines, raccoons, baboons, chimpanzees, seals, parrots - this is not a complete list of those that the audience will see in this dance and musical circus performance.

Director Victoria Konovalova skillfully combined theater, operetta and circus in one production. Especially for it, composer Svyatoslav Melik wrote music that accurately conveys all the twists and turns of the plot and creates a special atmosphere of an “antique” journey in a new way.
